Birthday Cards

Well guess what peeps I am back again today....need a birthday card for my son so I made 2 one for him and one for my son-in-law in Nov.
First off I totally C.A.S.E.'d the first one except for the verse found this on Pinterest and the original was made by Hansi over at Quilting with Paper.....the nice part of Hansi's post is that she has shared the measurements for the squares so goes together very easy.

The papers used on this card are CTMH's Timberline and the sentiment is from Stampendous, embellishments CTMH Triangle Durables.

The second is made slightly different as I added to circles to the front instead of one.

I used Noble Deer from SU on this one not sure about the birthday stamp papers are some scraps from The Paper Studio's I'd Rather Be Hunting paper pack....embellishments CTMH.

Grapes

Hello peeps, decided to take a break from my cleaning today and share this card I made using Serendipity Stamp set called Grapes also am adding it to this month's challenge....I have had this stamp set for awhile just wasn't sure how to use it, but am very happy with the outcome.

I first stamped my image and sentiment on white cardstock using Rich Razzleberry Ink from SU.....next I colored in the leaves and grapes with Spectrums added a little Crystal Stickles and some black beads....image layer is adhered to black cardstock and then added to a light lavender and that is my card.

You are My Sunshine

Good Monday morning peeps, how was your weekend?.....mine was great spent Sat. with hubby checking flea markets and Sun. spent the day with the oldest grand we went to brunch and a movie saw Ricki and the Flash good chick flick.
Well today I am sharing my last layout from my guest designer stint over at Lasting Memories (can't believe it has been a month) for this weeks challenge we had a choice of 3 titles.
1. You are My Sunshine
2. Aim High
3. Reach for The Stars

Of course I chose You are my Sunshine as I have another scrapbook page of Little Miss Diva modeling her bikini....this one just lights up my life when she comes in the door.

Found this sketch on Pinterest which originate over at JustMommies.com forum and my papers are another set from Paper Studio called Beach Bum had lots and lots of fun putting this one together.

Well that will do it for me today not sure I will be back the rest of the week as I am going to be giving my craftroom a much needed cleaning and organizing...so have a fantastic one.

Shabby Chic Poinsettia's

Good Wednesday morning Peeps, hope you are all having a fabulous week.....today I thought I would share a card with you since it has been a while....I did this card to enter in this month's challenge over at Power Poppy this month challenge is Shabby and a little Chic so I made a Christmas Card using the Poinsettia set .

I have colored my image with Spectrum markers with a little crystal Stickles for a little bling....I believe my papers are from a Recollections Christmas Pad....added distress inks to my layers and card cut sentiment out using a Sizzix Framelit.

Well that will do it for me today hope I have inspired you with my card....and will see you again soon.

Last Sat. me and my girls went shopping at Hobby Lobby and this picture is of me and the great grand Miss Livy, boy did she help me shop.
This also is my third post as Guest Designer over at Lasting Memories and keeping with the theme this month which is Sky High I stenciled a sun on my page using distress inks Orange Marmalade and Scattered Straw....next added a wooden sun on top.

I used a sketch #94 from Susan Strangefellow over at Sketch Savvy

and my designer papers are from Me and My Big Ideas Painted Posies....butterflies Paper Studio and the flowers in the corners are fussy cut from another sheet of the same paper and where popped to give them some dimension.

Hope you enjoy looking at my sweet little girl love her to the moon and back.

Fly Like An Eagle

Hello Peeps, back today with my second Guest Design Team post for Lasting Memories......this week we had a sketch to follow with a little bit of a twist add something with wings.....so with that said I had these awesome pictures of a rescued Eagle that lost an eye and is living at Maymont Park hope you enjoy them he or she was so beautiful.

And my take on it.

The picture in the middle is my grandson Lucien standing next to the statue in front of the exhibit the designer paper I used on this page is called Color Pop and is from Me and My Big Ideas love the bright pretty colors in it.....used my Cricut to cut out the title and label, circles cut with Sizzix Framelits, Birds Paper House Products......sure would like to see some of my scrapbook friends join us this week.

Out of This World

Hello peeps, today is my debut as August guest designer over at Lasting Memories and our theme for this month is "Sky High" so for my first page I chose to using some pictures of Lucien doing something I would not do.

He was strapped to this thing twirling around in the air....definitely not my cup of tea....the papers I used on this page are from Walmart's ColorBok collections and is called Beach House....the stamping is from a Bo Bunny stamp set called Elements used a stencil from Club Scrap and rub-on from Kaiser.....title was cut out on my Cricut and the stars from Sizzix Framelits.

Off to a music show with my mom and step-dad be back later to visit all my friends.
