Silhouettes and Butterflies

Good afternoon peeps, back again today with my design team card for I Brake For Stamps....again using something I have had for awhile but don't use......stencils......this particular one is from Heidi Swapps and is a honeycomb design.

Okay now for the details on my card.....first off I started with white card stock and moving my stencil around I sponged Faded Jeans, Broken China and Weathered Wood Distress Inks for the I stamped the Gazebo from the I Love Silhouettes half sheet with Memento Black Noir ink,  the Butterfly image and verse from the Botanical Half Sheet added some bling to give it a little piazza then added that layer to some blue card stock and combined them all on to kraft.

So that about does it for today hope you enjoy my card and can use the info.

Gelato's and Stencil's

Good morning peeps, as I said in my last post  I have been experimenting with different medium's today I have used Gelato's and have tried the resist emboss technique with them.

After stamping my images from I Brake For Stamps I heat embossed them with white embossing powder added 3 different colors of the Gelato's, then I added a little bit of stenciling using my finger to blend in the colors, thought it was quite interesting once I finished.

Okay this is a list of the stamps used....first off one of my favorites Floral Silhouette Bouquet , next the butterflies from Botanical half sheet and lastly the sentiment is from Half Sheet Gelatos are the Tropical Mix and Match Colors added a little bling and some distressing.

Hope you enjoy it will be back tomorrow with my regular Tues. posting.

Bister's Scene

Hello peeps, back from my mini vacation and have been in the craft room today playing....actually I have been trying different mediums for me.

Today I have a scene I did using Bister's and I Brake For Stamps the way Della sells the Bister's if you are interested in them.

I used Distress Inks for my images and also for the clouds and sun. The images I used are Tree's #3, Half Sheet 137A and Silhouette Bear.....not real good at doing the scenes on a card but was pretty pleased with this one.

Hugs Beth

Distressing Inks

Hi peeps be around to visit toward the end of the week as I am on a mini card this week is a little out of my comfort zone as I made my own background using Rangers Distress Inks and I Brake for Stamps rubber.

The stamps on my card this week are the following Fuchsia Border, Postcard Background and sentiment from Botanical Half Sheet.....the first thing I did was stamp the Fuchsia image on white card stock using embossing ink added white embossing powder then heat set the I sponged 3 different colors of Distress Ink over the blank card stock layer.....added a little water to give it water drops lastly stamped the post card background with Tea Dye ink and stamped it over my image.....wasn't real happy with the way the Fuchsia looked so added some color with SU markers.

Till I return.

Happy Easter

Good evening my peeps just want to pop in and say sorry have not been around Charlie and I were involved in an accident a week ago yesterday and today is the first time I have not grabbed the Aleve bottle as soon as my feet have hit the floor in the morning.....neither of us were seriously hurt just battered and bruised I had badly bruised ribs on my left side initially the Dr. thought I had 3 broke ribs....thanks to the dear Lord that was not the case.

I did get my design team card made and am finally going to share it with all of you know on Tuesday my stamps are always from I Brake For Stamps and this week I used 2 different ones.

For my card today I have used the Flourish from Half Sheet 129B Remember When and Baby Chickadee my background for my image is a failed sample of the Bokeh Technique but thought it was interesting so used it anyhow.......image is colored with Copics....Flourished stamped using Taken with Teal.....sentiment is a sticker from Serendipity stamps.....and my designer papers are DCWV....add some ribbon and a couple of 3-D butterflies.
Hope you enjoy my card and that everybody has a blessed Easter.

Okay now for the details first off I stamped my Jumbo-Pansies from IBFS with Ranger Embossing Ink added some white embossing powder then used mt heat I took a aqua brush and picked up some white craft ink from the corner of the pad and colored the whole image.....BTW I forgot to mention that I stamped my image twice.....after white washing the image I used some colored pads just to add a hint of added some pearls and beads......outline sticker of the hummingbird which I colored with markers.....very simple layout but quite elegant looking....will be sending this out in the mail today to one of my BFF's.....hope she likes it.
