Skating Santa with a Z-Fold Card

Good morning peeps well it is almost I am going to share 2 cards with you both are the same style one I did on Sat. was not pleased with it so re-did this morning with a larger size.....I got this idea from Gail Wheeler over at Stampingville and the fact that I just got some new border dies from Spellbinders made this card that much more interesting....thank you Gail for the inspiration.

This one I thought was a little busy and wasn't showcasing Della's stamp that well from the Christmas Plate....what do you think?

this is how it looks closed
This is the one I worked on this morning and is a 6 X 6 card got my borders straighter on this one and went with a little different color scheme and the image is one of Rick St. Dennis's Randi Dandi Skating Santa

and here standing
My images are both from I Brake For Stamps colored with Copic's, plus a little Star Dust Stickles on Santa's fur, papers are Recollections Handmade Holidays, dies are all from Spellbinders.

Just want to remind you that Della has extended her Crazy 8 sale over at IBFS all half sheets are on sale till Mon. for 8.88 and even though these sheets are on sale you can still use my code for even more savings that is 10% more off your order.

Clean and Simple Christmas

Hello peeps, how was your week-end? Mine was quiet and uneventful except for listening to my poor husband coughing his head off.....but it gave me an excuse to hide out in my craft room.

I found a card on Pinterest using Lovely as a Tree from SU that was embossed in gold on black and just loved the look....well I decided to do a card in silver and black and used a stamp from Northwood Rubber called Holly Pinecone and Ribbon.....and sentiment is from My Craft Spot Tiny Tags Christmas  which I purchased with my winning gift certificate from a few weeks ago.

Had to use a rick rack type of ribbon as I couldn't find any silver but I guess it you think I should add some color to the pine cone's to make them stand out more or just leave them alone.

Shy Bear Santa Face

Hello peeps back again this week with my design team card for I Brake For I have a very simple card with one image and basically white card stock.

I used red card stock for the basic card than just added white embossed Shy Bear is colored with Spectrum Markers with some white Stickles for the the pom pom and fur around the hat...the ribbon is some shiny stuff I have had in my stash forever.....I think Shy Bear is so cute reminds me of Tim the Tool Man's neighbor Wilson.

Don't forget to use my code when ordering from I Brake For Stamps to get your 10% off entire order.

Well I guess that does it for me today went to a very nice Bazaar and lunch with my family over the week-end really enjoyed my day.

Giving Thanks

Good morning peeps, finally got my design team card done work all day yesterday on one but nothing would work right so back to the drawing board this morning.

First off I used the sketch over at Techno Stamper's Monday Lunch Time Mary Jo's sketches.

Next I got out my Thanksgiving Collage Half Sheet stamps from I Brake For Stamps and a paper pad called I'd Rather Be Hunting from Hobby Lobby and a sheet of watercolor paper.

The background for my stamped image was watercolored and then sprayed with glimmer mist wasn't happy with the dullness of the turkey and leaf so stamped it a second time colored with Copics and cut them out and adhered to the BG.

This is the inside of my card this verse is so pretty that is why I am sharing (which by the way is included in this sheet), punched a few leaves to scatter down the side....and you have my Design Team card for sure and check out Della's special while at her store and don't forget to use my code for your 10% OFF.

Till next time.

Good Sunday morning Peeps hope you are having a wonderful week-end.....mine has been great so far especially since I have some me time in the basement with my craft supplies.

Today I have a card for the Allsorts Challenge Poppies or Remembrance....this was not a hard challenge for me as the Poppy is one of my favorite flowers and remembrance it reminds me of my father in law who was a Purple Heart recipient in the Korean war.

Okay info on my card card stock is from Club Scrap designer paper some scraps as well as the ribbon my image is a PSX stamp from 1995 and sentiment SU's Happy Harmony, colored using Copics and Spectrum Noirs.
