Out of This World

Hello peeps, today is my debut as August guest designer over at Lasting Memories and our theme for this month is "Sky High" so for my first page I chose to using some pictures of Lucien doing something I would not do.

He was strapped to this thing twirling around in the air....definitely not my cup of tea....the papers I used on this page are from Walmart's ColorBok collections and is called Beach House....the stamping is from a Bo Bunny stamp set called Elements used a stencil from Club Scrap and rub-on from Kaiser.....title was cut out on my Cricut and the stars from Sizzix Framelits.

Off to a music show with my mom and step-dad be back later to visit all my friends.

Shine

Good morning peeps back today with a post I am sharing over at Lasting Memories challenge 251 use 3 designer papers....I got my idea for this page over at Melissa Davies Blog Bee Divine Designs.

I had so much fun with this page the papers I used were some specialty papers from Stampin-Up that I have had for years.....as you may guess I am a hoarder...LOL....made to of my flowers and the leaves were cut using a Cut and Emboss die from Cuttlebug...made my own banners and stamped the word SHINE using some Autumn Leaves stamps....the little flowers between the banners where white and I colored them with a Spectrum Noir markers so they would match my page.

Hope you enjoy my post and now I am almost caught up with this month's challenges have another one to post tomorrow.

Girl with Basket and Mallards

Hello peeps I have been bad again and not posting summertime for me is usually pretty busy with my garden and now with Livy as her mom started a new job that she had worked very hard to get...but any how I am here today with this weeks card and last weeks design team card at I Brake For Stamps, hope you like them.

This first one is for this week and I used Girl with Basket....and Half Sheet 138B  and made a Latch Card, using the sentiment as the latch.

My image was colored with Prisma Colored pencils and Gamsol.....used Spellbinder Dies for the frames papers are from DCWV, and I added some Flower Soft to the flowers in the basket.

This is the card open.

This is last weeks card using Mallards image, Winter Tree, Stump from Trees 3 and Half Sheet 138B for the sentiment

on this card I used water color pencils and tried making a scene with the stamps and background...Corners are punched using a Stampin-Up Punch.

Next week will be my last post for I Brake For Stamps as I have decided to give it up.....I will probably get lazy again and not a lot of blogging.

Well that will do it for me right now.

Berries, Blossom's and a Kerr Jar

Good morning peeps running a day late with my post yesterday was my birthday and was gone the entire day paid a visit to Monticello Thomas Jefferson's in Charlottesville Va....than ate at Michie Tavern which is such a unique place so the day was wonderful.

Today I have my design team card for I Brake For Stamps  and the stamp I used is simply called Kerr Jar for any of you who do not recognize the name Kerr is the name of a canning jar company which also makes the lids and rings for your canning.....any how I think this is my new favorite image from Della's store.

I have colored my image with Spectrum Noir markers added a little yellow Stickles in the middle of the flowers used a Spellbinder die cut frame to cut out the image......background paper is from K&Co, added ribbon down both sides of DP next added butterfly stickers....stamped out my sentiment and used Stampin-Up punch for that.

Guess that does for me today....speaking of berries I am off to make some blackberry jam.

Della at IBFS is having free delivery in the U.S. right now may want to go over there and check out her store...and don't forget to use my code SAVE10BETH for your 10% discount.
