Boxed Accordion Album

Hello Peeps how are you on this cold and snowy day?.....I am in the basement and I just finished this project that I have been working on for the last week or so.....the tutorial is by Cristi Maron and purchased from Paper Hoarder papers are  a 6x6 pad called Madeline Collection from Prima.
My daughter in law had asked me to make her granddaughters albums to store pictures and memorabilia of there deceased daddy and I thought this style would be perfect...the top has magnets that hold it closed.

than when opened has 12 pockets to store pictures and small layouts in.

I added tabs on my tags in the pockets so they would be easier to remove.

added some stick-on hardware and painted wooden beads for the feet used glossy accents to reinforce all of the extra's.....didn't put a lot of embellishments because I didn't feel it needed many.

Distress Inks and Flowers

Good afternoon all....thought I was escaping today and my post wouldn't get up till much later but on our way to escape it started snowing again so we are back home drats....really going stir crazy in this house.

But I did manage to do a card yesterday to share with you I got the inspiration from a tutorial from Craft Ideas except mine did not turn out exactly like the one in the magazine but think I am pretty happy with it.

I started out with a piece of watercolor paper that I stamped one of the outline flowers Florals Sheet from I Brake For Stamps with white ink and added white embossing powder...heat embossed next I added some inks from Rangers Distress Inks spritz with water but they didn't run like they were suppose to so I just kept adding more ink and colors....after I dried my inks I spritz it again with a yellow glimmer mist from Tattered Angels......stamped my sentiment from Half Sheet 138B on a piece of vellum that I punched out with the largest tag punch from SU.....added a Bakers Twine bow and some self adhesive gems.....then mounted it on purple cardstock.

And you have my card for this week....hope you have enjoyed it and don't forget when shopping at I Brake For Stamps be sure and use my code SAVE10BETH.

Vintage Girl Reading

Hello peeps think I have moved to the arctic and no one has told me cold, cold, cold, here in Va.......I know I am running behind with my post had Olivia almost 24 hours and I don't get much done with her visiting.

But I do have a card for you today I used another technique from Technique Junkies called Layered Stamps love the look of this technique and it was so easy.
I have used 3 stamps from I Brake For Stamps the first stamp is from the Half Sheet 129A Backgrounds used the Script stamped that I inked with Weathered Wood distress ink, next I inked the Little Girl Reading from Half Sheet 108A Vintage Children and More with Broken China Distress Ink stamping it over the script...and lastly I used Learn Live Hope  text stamp inked with Faded Jeans....after stamping all my images on the white card stock I added the Weathered Wood ink all around the top layer....mounted it onto blue card stock and next onto a black card....and a little bit of blue bling.

Okay guess that about does it for me hope you all have a great week and those in the North Atlantic try to stay warm.

If I used any stamps you think you gotta have don't forget to use my code for your 10% off.

Two Feathers

Good morning Peeps, finally back to normal and my bandwidth is back to 100 % have to learn to stay away from those video tutorials.....hope you are all having a good week so far....we have had some beautiful weather but think it is coming to an end.

Have you seen all of those great cards out there using the feathers? Well I have and I love them so today I am going to share one with you that I made for my design team card today.

I got my inspiration from Pinterest but am not able to tell you who inspired me as there was no name.
I used 3 different stamps from I Brake For Stamps first being the Script Background stamp from Half Sheet 129A which I made a mask for out of copy paper just tore a design out of it and then stamped the image with Frayed Burlap distress I stamped the Two Feathers stamp with Memento Black Noir ink off to the side of the script....lastly I stamped Remember Me with the same black ink and that is from The Remember Me Half Sheet 129B......this was all stamped on a layer of white card stock that I then mounted to a layer of black added the flat sided black beads to dress it up a little.

Don't forget if you like any of these stamps I have used you can purchase them at IBFS and when checking out be sure and use my code for 10% off your entire order.

This is so appropriate as this is where my stomach bug came from but I wouldn't trade the Cuddles Kisses and Love for anything....Miss Olivia gave it to almost the whole family.

Another Birthday Card

Good morning peeps, today I have another birthday card for you this one was for my dear friend Pat who celebrated her birthday is also my design team card for this week over at I Brake For Stamps and I also need to admit that this card was inspired by Leslie Miller at Running With Scissors.

Okay now for my card details I used a stamp called Pansies-Jumbo from IBFS along with Half Sheet 129B Remember When......colored my image with Copics, fussy cut my image out layered the sentiment on a piece of mauve colored card stock tucked in between the for the background isn't that a beautiful embossing folder? Leslie is also an enabler when I saw this on her site I had to have it....It is called Aviary by Anna Griffin and is a Cuttlebug folder.

Okay guess that does it for me this week having Band-Width problems seems that I over used my band-width when I was making my last scrapbook those video's really eat it up so have to be extra cautious until the 8th of Feb. will know better the next time.

Don't forget to use my code when shopping with Della over at IBFS.
